Curator’s notes
## Inspiration
The inspiration for this project stemmed from a deep desire to preserve and educate people about India’s history — specifically, the tragic yet pivotal event of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. This incident is not just a moment in Indian freedom struggle history, but a symbol of resistance, sacrifice, and the harsh realities of colonial rule. We felt that building a digital memorial could be a powerful way to help people—especially the younger generation—connect with this history.
## What it does
The History of Jallianwala Bagh website serves as a digital tribute that:
1.Narrates the events surrounding the massacre. 2.Showcases historical facts, figures, and stories. 3.Offers an engaging and interactive user interface for educational exploration. 4.Provides a responsive, clean experience using modern web technologies.
