## Inspiration We noticed a frustrating reality: people want to start things — a side hustle, a fitness routine, a personal project — but they often get stuck not because of lack of motivation, but because of lack of clarity. Tools like Notion are powerful, but overwhelming for beginners. People spend more time searching for tutorials of notion, overthinking of building right template and finding the “right template” than actually getting started. so we thought why this much complexity there must be a tool where we just add our goal and that's it ai will does the whole job to give us structured plan which anyone can do without thinking any complexity or overthinking for hours, just say what you want and get started ! ## What it does Second Brain lets users simply write what they want to achieve — like “I want to start freelancing” or “I want to plan my wedding” — and instantly transforms that input into a beautiful, editable, ready-to-use planner template. No need to search, build, or understand complex blocks. Just type → get your system → start working. It’s like Notion, but flipped: You don’t build the workspace. The workspace builds itself around you. ## How we built it As the hackathon is about vibe coding we vibe coded this project using lovable and also with our own skills wherever needed. ## Challenges we ran into well the single challenge we faced was that many times ai doesn't understand what to do and sometimes it makes things more messy then fixing but in that type of situation we solved that thing by ourselves. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of Created a working system that can convert ideas into structured templates in real-time. Designed a frictionless, mobile-friendly interface that makes people say “I wish I had this before!” Built an experience that feels like magic to users — especially non-techies and first-time planners. ## What we learned People don’t want more productivity tools — they want clarity. Simplicity is powerful. The more we removed, the more intuitive it became. Good UX = user confidence. We saw users instantly “get it” and start doing. AI isn’t just for writing — it can actually design structure based on thoughts. ## What's next for Second Brain Smart Recommendations: AI will suggest next steps, resources, and timelines inside each template. Voice Input: Speak your thoughts instead of typing. Public Template Gallery: Users can share and discover templates with upvotes and tags. Team Spaces: Build shared plans with collaborators. Browser Extension: Highlight any idea on the web and turn it into a plan inside Second Brain instantly. Mobile App: Take your second brain anywhere. Freemium: We're planning to make it freemium model with some more advanced features
